Local production company Dahling Productions are gearing up to entertain residents this holiday season with their interpretation of a famous Christmas film.

This year's presentation will be Elf, and everyone involved is looking to put on a show for the crowd which they'll never forget.

"We always include acting, dancing, live singing and a live band," explained Richelle Dahl, owner and director of Dahling Productions. "It will be a mix of those with a storyline and items in between the story."

Dahl is directing, producing, and choreographing this year's show. No doubt it has been a busy time for her and everyone involved in the production as they prepare to wow the crowd starting on December 9th. "We put in a lot of work. We've been working on it for three to four months," said Dahl. "I'm always really appreciative to see people come together and offer their gifts to the community.

She added how it has been overwhelming to see support from the community to make the presentation a success. Everyone from the participants helping construct a professionally-made show, sponsors, and residents who attend the display.

The show is made to be a family-oriented production and caters to a wide audience. Elf is a popular holiday movie which will allow the audience to bond with the story and characters as well. "We haven't done a Christmas show yet that is super funny and has lots of laughs," said Dahl. "We always include every side of Christmas and we'll make everybody feel happy and entertained."

Residents will have their opportunity to take in the spectacle on December 9th, 10th, and 11th. The Sunday show is already sold, and limited tickets are available for the remaining shows on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are available online at www.dahlingproductions.eventbrite.ca or they can be purchased at Staples Apparel on Main Street in Kindersley.
