The latest report from the Rosetown RCMP is in, for the week of February 3rd to February 9th, 2023.

Beginning with the early hours of February 3rd, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a vehicle that fled from police in Eston. Members located the vehicle and attempted to stop it but the vehicle rammed both police vehicles and took off.

Later on that day, members received a report of harassing communication though there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

The next day Rosetown RCMP would receive a report of an injured deer on Highway 7 near D'Arcy. The group SERM was aware of the complaint and were attending to the deer leaving nothing further required.

During the morning of February 6th members would get word of a suspicious person in Rosetown. Members patrolled but were unable to find any suspicious activity. Later on that night Rosetown RCMP would received two reports of harassing communications in Elrose, and Rosetown, with insufficient evidence to proceed in each case.

Then on February 7th our headline call saw RCMP receive a report of a dispute with a neighbor and their dog. The matter is still under investigation. Finally on February 9th members received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 15. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.

There were also 46 Traffic related charges issued, one 911 mis-dial call, and four false alarm calls.
