The Saskatchewan Government has launched a new Enterprise Region program.

This new program will see more funding and expand services for regional economic development.  Enterprise and Innovation Minister Lyle Stewart says the new ER program will increase capacities in each region.

Stewart added that the new economic regions are around twice as large as before.  The current REDA program will cease operations on March 31st and at that time the new ER program will become fully operational.

The new ER program focuses on sustainable economic growth and creating competitive advantages at all levels.
