Eston’s Municipal Election Day is Wednesday, October 26th and six councillors and a mayor will be up elected into office.

In order to vote residents must hold a permit in the municipality, be a Canadian citizen over the age of 18 who has resided in Saskatchewan for six or more successive months, and must have lived in the Eston area for at least three consecutive months before Election Day.

The town of Eston has put out a call for nominations for the 2016 election.
An information session will be held on Wednesday, September 14th at 6pm. An hour later the general public are also invited to stay and observe the council meeting.
A person may be nominated as a candidate in the rural municipal election if he or she meets the citizenship, residency, and age requirements of a voter.


Nomination forms can be picked up and dropped off at Eston’s Administration building at 217 Main Street South.
