The Oyen Eagles will be in Kindersley on Friday night for their second game of the Fertile Valley Baseball League season, taking on the new-look Kindersley Cubs in their first action of the season at 7:00 PM.

After a material change, the Cubs and Eagles are the only game set to be played on Berard Field tonight. It's the season opener for the Cubs after they had a road game against Eatonia postponed earlier in the week. As for the Eagles, they were already in Kindersley earlier this week facing the Stallions, losing an 11-10 thriller.

With a few postponements already, the only other FVBL game played so far this year was also on Tuesday night in Rosetown between the Angels and visiting Kindersley Klippers. Rosetown won 15-5, last year's runners up getting into the win column to start 2024.

Back to tonight, first pitch is set for 7:00 PM in Kindersley.
