Grades 3 and 5 students from Biggar Central School 2000 will be taking part in a road trip through Saskatchewan, capped off by staying at the Science Center in Regina. Students will hop on a bus, drive through Saskatoon, stop in at Kenaston for lunch before arriving in Regina.
Once the bus arrives in Regina the kids get to stretch their legs out by going swimming at Regina's Sportplex (Fieldhouse & Lawson Aquatic Centre). After swimming, the kids bus to the Science Center where they will do a little shopping at the souvenir shop. After they've hit up the souvenir shop the students travel to Candy Cane park in Regina for supper and to do some activities. After the park the students head back to the Science Center where they will take in an IMAX movie at the theater there, before bunking up and doing a "camp-in" at the Science Center overnight.
In the morning, they have breakfast before heading off the Royal Saskatchewan Museum for a couple exhibits. The plan after that is to grab a bite before hitting the road back to Biggar, with a stop in Kenaston likely to stretch everyone's legs and do a bathroom break. Should be a fun filled road trip without question!
