Leader will be hosting their annual Grand Ole Opry event this Saturday. The event has become a tradition for the town, this being their 15th year. The Opre is one night only this year instead of the regular two nights.

Leader began the event back in 2001 to showcase local musical talents, while also raising funds for the community. Around 20 performers perform every year leading to about 5 hours of entertainment. Performances range from bands, instrumentals, or even karaoke.

The event will have snacks and refreshments available, and is kid friendly. People from all over the west central area are welcome to come watch the show tomorrow night.

Tickets are available at the Leader pharmacies, or by phoning Crystal at 306-628-7362 or Sharon at 306-628-3747. Crystal and Sharon can also be contacted through the events Facebook page, "Leader & District Grand Ole Opry". Tickets are $20 a person or $5 for children 12 and under and the doors open at 5:30 pm.
