The clear, sunny skies are being welcomed by people travelling in the rural sections of west central Saskatchewan.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Rural Municipality of Kindersley allowed heavy haul traffic to resume as long as there is no further precipitation in the area. Main grid roads are in good condition as reported by the RM.

Although, officials are asking drivers to remain cautious while driving on the roads.

Residents are asked to avoid the shoulders on the grid roads as much as possible as they may still be soft from the recent rainfall. No mud can be brought out on grid roads as well for safety reasons.

Yards or leases which are wet and muddy are to be avoided for travellers as recommended by the RM.

Drivers are always required to have a primary weight permit when travelling in the RM due to the roads being rated at secondary weight.  The roads listed below are the only primary weight rated roads.

  • Brock Grid North (#657) Brock South
  • Rosana Road
  • Flaxcombe South
