The Saskatchewan Rush of the National Lacrosse League opened up their 4th season in Saskatoon this weekend with a very entertaining night.

The evening began with last year's championship banner rising to the rafters of Sasktel Centre before the matchup with the expansion San Diego Seals.

Saskatchewan's own The Hunter Brothers sang the national anthem and performed three of their smash hits during halftime.

In what was a back and fourth game for the first 3 quarters of the game, the Rush were able to pull away from the Seals and emerged victorious with a final score of 16-12.
