The calls to service for the Unity, Macklin and Wilkie RCMP from April 25 to May 1 were highlighted by the report of individuals breaking into golf sheds at Wilkie Golf Club.
UNITY REPORTS
· RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a barn in a rural yard near Unity but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
· Members acted as mediators in a neighbor dispute.
· Police received a report of trespassing. The complainant later requested no further action be taken.
· Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.
· RCMP spoke to an individual regarding an animal wellbeing concern. Members spoke to the animal owner.
· Members acted as mediators in another family dispute.
· Police conducted a property check at the request of the property owner.
· There were also four false alarms, one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.
WILKIE REPORTS
· RCMP received a complaint of individuals breaking into golf sheds at Wilkie Golf Club*** See Related Reports.***
· Members are investigating a complaint of assault.
· Police received another complaint of individuals breaking into golf sheds at Wilkie Golf Club. This matter is still under investigation.
· A 60-day roadside suspension was issued to a vehicle driver during a traffic stop.
· Two youth were charged with Break and Enter and Mischief after Members received a complaint of individuals breaking into golf sheds at Wilkie Golf Club.
· RCMP received a report of trespassing. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning.
· A 43-year-old male from Wilkie was charged with Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose after Members received a complaint of disturbing the peace.
· Police received a report of a suspicious individual walking around Wilkie. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
· There was also one traffic complaint.
MACKLIN REPORT
· RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a residence. This matter is still under investigation.
· Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family friend.
· Police received a complaint of theft but it was unfounded.
· There were also two traffic complaints.
Moving onto the calls to service for the Unity, Wilkie and Macklin RCMP from April 18 to 24, Police received a complaint of individuals damaging property at Landis School. This matter is still under investigation. View the full report below.
UNITY REPORTS
· RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a business but it was unfounded.
· A 70-year-old male from Calgary was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, a 55-year-old male from Saskatoon was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Fail to Comply with a Release Order Condition and a 53-year-old male from Calgary was also charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime after Members received a traffic complaint. Arrest warrants were also executed on the 55-year-old male from Saskatoon at the request of Saskatoon Police Service and Estevan Police Service.
· Police received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.
· CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity. Reported for information purposes.
· RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a business. This matter is still under investigation.
· Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.
· There were also two traffic complaints, one false 911 call and one false alarm.
WILKIE REPORTS
· RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a residence but it was unfounded.
· Police received a complaint of individuals damaging property at Landis School. This matter is still under investigation.
· Members received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in a ditch near Meota. The complainant requested no further action be taken.
· RCMP received a report of an individual damaging a vehicle but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
· Police received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered at Valleyview, Alberta. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.
· Members received a complaint of assault but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
· There were also two traffic complaints and one false alarm.
MACKLIN REPORT
· RCMP received a complaint of trespassing. The subjects of complaint had left the area before Members arrived. Members patrolled but could not locate the subjects of complaint.
· Members received a report of a stolen vehicle but it was unfounded.
· Police spoke to an individual regarding Mental Health concerns.
· RCMP received a complaint of theft of fuel from a local gas station. Members located the vehicle driver who paid for the fuel. No charges were laid.
· Members are investigating a complaint of theft.
· Police received a report of an individual not complying with conditions of a release order. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and the complainant.
· RCMP received a complaint of criminal harassment. This matter is still under investigation.
· Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle on private property north of Macklin. Members contacted the registered owner who agreed to move the vehicle.
· There was also one traffic complaint.
