The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers were back on the ice for the first time in 2020 against their arch rivals from the Battlefords.

The Klippers were unable to come up with a victory as they fell to the North Stars twice this past weekend.

The North Stars won both games by the identical 5-2 scores with Rylan Nivon leading the way for Battlefords Friday night in Kindersley with a goal and 2 assists.

Michael Neumeier scored his first SJHL goal and added an assist in the defeat and Liam Fraser scored his team leading 20th in the loss.

It was a similar story on Saturday night as the Stars got 2 goals from Matthias Urbanski in the loss. Kindersley native Jaxon Georget and Sean Michalvich scored for the Klippers in the loss.

Next action for Kindersley is a home game tomorrow night against the Nipawin Hawks at 7:30.
