The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers finished off their last road trip of 2019 with 1 win and 2 losses on a 3 game, 3 day trip this past weekend. Kindersley fell 5-2 to the Notre Dame Hounds last Thursday to end their 8 game point streak. The Klippers were right back at it on Friday night against the Estevan Bruins and once again could not pull off a victory, losing 3-1. Kindersley salvaged their last game of the trip though, beating the Weyburn Red Wings 4-1 on Saturday night.

The Klippers will be back in action this week, as they will try to avenge their loss against the Hounds as Notre Dame will be in Kindersley to take on Klippers on Thursday. This will be their final game before the Christmas break as the team will not play until January 3 at home against the Battlefords North Stars in the first of a home and home against them.

Kindersley has a 14-16-5-1 record which is good enough for the eighth and final playoff spot in the SJHL heading into their game against the Hounds who the Klippers have a four point cushion on.
