The Rosetown Sr. Redwings were in action this past weekend with one game on the schedule against the Eston Ramblers on Friday evening. The Redwings and Ramblers had a high scoring affair at the Eston Arena with the teams going back and forth on the scoreboard with Eston ultimately coming out on top, 9-6.

Kyle Ireland and Jared Jagow each scored 2 in the defeat with Kendall McFaull and Justin Fox scoring the others in the loss. The Ramblers got a big night from Brett Howe who had four goals in all and Jesse Ismond had a pair in the victory as well to push the Ramblers record to 9-1 to take the lead in the SVHL over the Kenaston Blizzards who lost on the weekend.

Rosetown is lead by Kyle Ireland offensively, as he has 21 points in 9 games so far. Zach Douglas is right behind with 18 points and Jared Jagow leads the team on goals with 8 and is third in points with 15. Rosetown has a 6-3-1 record now, which is good enough for 4th in the SVHL. Rosetown plays Eston once again at home this Friday in their last game before Christmas at 8 pm from the Rosetown Arena.
