A trio of provincial matchups are joining the tail-end of league play to highlight another great weekend of senior hockey.

A few local teams are competing for their respective title. The Macklin Mohawks are gunning for the provincial Senior "D" title against the Redvers Rockets. The Wilkie Outlaws and Kyle Elks are playing the most local matchup of the three in Senior "C". The intense Senior "A" field sees the Kenaston Blizzards, the team who eliminated the Kindersley Senior Klippers from contention, taking on Lumsden in a Hockey Saskatchewan heavyweight tilt.

The intense Senior "A" field sees the Kenaston Blizzards, the team who eliminated the Kindersley Senior Klippers from contention, taking on Lumsden in a Hockey Saskatchewan heavyweight tilt. That series kicks off Saturday as well, and you can find the full schedule here.

A pair of local leagues could also finish this week. Wilkie is on the verge of winning another Sask West Hockey League championship, currently up 2-1 in their series against Kindersley. The Kenaston Blizzards can win the Sask Valley Hockey League title in their next game against Dinsmore, the Dynamos extending the series with a 5-2 win at home Thursday night in Game 3 to avoid the sweep.
