The Kindersley Senior Klippers were in action this past weekend against one of the new teams in the SWHL, the Edam 3 Stars. The 3 Stars came out fast and scored three quick goals to make it 3-0 just 5 minutes in and lead 6-2 after the 1st period.

The Klippers could never really recover from the early deficit and lost convincingly, 8-3 to drop their record to 8-2 heading into play next weekend. Kindersley got 2 goals from Damon McKenzie and Preston Kopeck scored the other in the defeat.

The Klippers will play 2 games at home next weekend starting off against the Biggar Nationals Friday and the Eatonia Huskies on Saturday on their last games before Christmas. Kindersley is lead offensively by Shayne Neigum who has 29 points and 13 goals in 10 games with Preston Kopeck in second with 27 points and 12 goals. Damon McKenzie is 3rd on the team with 24 points and tied with Kopeck for second in goals with 12 as well. Kindersley is tied for first with the Wilkie Outlaws who remain unbeaten at 8-0 heading into play this weekend.
