April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month and is an opportunity to increase awareness and offer support for the more than 100,000 Canadians that live with Parkinson's and the 30 more being diagnosed every day.

Parkinson’s is a long-term neurologic  disorder where the central nervous system degenerates and that affects the motor systems like trembling, stiffness, and rigidity – though every ones journey is different!

If you have Parkinson's, know someone that has or just want information, the local Support Group meets the second Wednesday of the month. For more information call Nancy @ 306-463-4514.
