The Kindersley Jr. Klippers will be back on the ice tonight continuing their five game homestand against the Yorkton Terriers.

The Terriers are coming off arguably their biggest win of the season, as they knocked off the Nutrien Division leading Battlefords North Stars 5-4 Tuesday on a late goal by David Overbeeke. With that win, Yorkton has inched closer to Kindersley in the standings, just four points back of the Jet Airliners heading into this evening's action.

Kindersley is coming off a weekend split with the Weyburn Red Wings and are riding the hot stick of hometown Klipper Tylin Hilbig, who was recently named SJHL Saskatchewan Player of the Week for his four goal outburst last week.

Some bittersweet news did come out from the Klippers last week as well, with forward Cash Arntsen announcing his retirement from the SJHL. The Swift Current native will be missed on the ice not for his leadership skills, but his continuous work ethic, not to mention his calming presence in the dressing room.

Back to this evening's game, it will begin as always at 7:30 pm at the WCEC.
