To help Raise money for their local emergency responders, the Kerrobert Kinsmen Club held their very first “Rockin for the Rescue” event.

Doors opened for the small concert at 7:00 pm in the Kerrobert Kinsmen Hall, with the music getting underway at 8:00.

Some of the performers who made their way to the event included Taylor Knorr, Frank Beausoleil, Jordan Welbourne, Mitch Larock, Matt Davis, and Will Ballantyne.

While the music was the main attraction, there were some other ways for guests to entertain themselves. Chad Tetzlaf, who helped organize the event, shared some of the alternate entertainment options.

“We had pool, and shuffleboard, and Foosball, and Nintendo set up downstairs, and cards for people to play.”

This was the first time the Kerrobert Kinsmen club hosted this event, and thanks to a good turnout, Tetzlaf has high hopes for next year.

“This was the first year we had it, we wanted to see how it was gonna go, and the event turned out very well. We had great support from the community, so we’ll probably be doing it again next year.”

All of the money raised from this event will be going towards Kerrobert Fire and Rescue, as well as Kerrobert's Ambulance Services.
