The Royal Purple's Braingo Tango was held recently in Kindersley. Darlene May with Kindersley Royal Purple, explains how much money was raised for different organizations in the area.

“We donated $2300 to the West Central Crisis & Support Centre, $2300 to the Kindersley & District Food Bank, $500 to Westberry Elementary, $500 to Elizabeth Middle Schools for their food programs, and we donated some more to the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association.”

She also mentioned many businesses in Kindersley donated financially and to their silent auction. Which May said, made all the difference.

Even though the event had to be scaled down due to speakers not being able to reach Kindersley because of poor weather, May said things went over relatively well.

May was also grateful for all who the Kindersley Inn for hosting the event, despite the inclement weather, and she also thanked the Town of Kindersley for all they did for the event and beyond.
