A common theme every year for the Chamber, is to bring in a popular guest speaker for the event, and this year will be no different.

Tolander Baker is the president of the Kindersley Chamber of Commerce. She says Paul Martin, an economist for Saskatchewan will be speaking on whether Saskatchewan's economic buoyancy is sustainable.

" I have been to a few of his presentations and have come out thinking that Saskatchewan out of ten provinces is actually the best place to be in Canada right now and for the next few years. Anybody living in Saskatchewan, knows that we've enjoyed five good years with a surge in our economy. Will that continue? I don't know but Paul Martin has some answers that are very interesting and exciting to listen to. "

Tolanda adds that the meeting will also go over what the chamber has done in the past year. They will also elect or appoint their board of directors for the new year.

Your last day to purchase tickets for the Annual general meeting is February 8th. You can contact the Chamber office at 463-2320 to purchase your ticket or tickets.
