The District Plains Museum has been swamped as of late with visitors due to all the exciting events the town of Kindersley has hosted throughout the summer.

The Canada Cup brought in athletes and families from all across Canada. Those newcomers have been checking out the museum in between games.

Add in the recent Centennial Celebrations, and the museum has become a summer hot spot.

With all the action this summer, many of the employees have been working extensive hours and the museum is asking for volunteers for the remainder of summer and into the fall.

If you would like to volunteer your services contact the District Plains Museum at 463-6620 or if you just want to pop by for a visit, the current operating hours are Monday to Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
