As of February 1st seniors ages 72 or older are eligible to register for the National dental care plan.

With over 10% of the population of Kindersley (as of a census from 2021), the second largest demographic in the area, it will be of use for the community at large.

There have been grumblings within the community though, that the process to be covered and go through the system are not as straight forward as first thought. 

As of reporting, West Central Online hasn't received comments from local practices.

Invitations to enroll in the program were originally sent out in the mail late last year. Coverage is expected to start this May. 

Anyone who applied should expect a letter in the mail containing their personalized application code and a phone number to call.
