The Kindersley Sr. Klippers had just one game this past weekend in the SWHL.

The team travelled down to Eatonia to take on the Huskies on Saturday night. The Klippers took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission on a goal by leading scorer Shayne Neigum with the assists going to Preston Kopeck and Brandon Cummings.

Kindersley took a 2-0 lead on a power play goal by Kyle Donaldson, but Eatonia answered right back. Adam Antkowiak and Justin McKinnon scored 10 seconds apart to tie the score at 2 in the second.

The Klippers took over from there and put in 6 straight goals including a hat trick by Damon McKenzie and won the game by an 8-2 score.

Kindersley now gets set for Outlaws in a battle of the top 2 teams in the league tomorrow night in Wilkie. The Klippers will look for the season sweep of the Outlaws as they defeated them 9-5 on December 28 in Kindersley.
