It wasnt the result they wanted for the first game of their Sherwood Conference survivor series match.

The Kindersley Klippers came out on the wrong end of a 3-2 decision to Estavan Bruins last night at the West Central Events Center. Forward Kirk Pearce netted both Klipper goals in the loss. Pearce said the team isn't going to change much heading into game 2.

The game wasnt without contraversey. With the Klippers down by a goal and their goaltender on the bench late in the third, Eric Dickey managed to bounce the puck past Bruins goalie Tommy Legault. The goal was immediatley called off by referee Adam Byblow, who claimed the puck was covered by the netminder.

The series resume with Game two tonight at the West Central Events Center, with the puck dropping at 7 pm.
