Going into male dominated careers can seem like a daunting task to some but to one woman its more of a challenge to overcome.

Straight out of high school she joined the Canadian Airforce all on her own with nothing more than the clothing on her back. Being as rebellious as she was, it was a challenge to follow orders and fall into step,

but she persevered. She locked in 4 years of service, met her husband Mike who was a radar tech in the Canadian Navy.

From there she moved to Ontario and became a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police earning a marksmanship award during training.

After that Lenore and Mike became long haul truck drivers, traveling every highway and road within Canada and the United States. Once even going through a city that was in the midst of a gang war.

Life shifted to be more family oriented as time went on, raising two boys who as of reporting are all grown and moving on with their own life adventures.

To those women growing up in this uncertain world, Lenore wants them to know that life is too short to take seriously, find a companion and have fun. You only get to experience life once so just enjoy it.
