One local Lucky Lake Cowboy has been roping in the wins this weekend at the Canadian Cowboy Finals in Regina.
Tyler Getz managed to earn a tie for first place in the roping competion- an honour he shares with fellow Cowboy, Bruce Dunham, of Indian Head.
The event was held at Evraz Place in Regina at the Canadian West Agribition this weekend.
Three rounds earned him a total payout of over 2,250 dollars.
His first rope time of 11.8 seconds earned him 250 dollars.
His second rope time of 8.4 was the sterling time, earning him a payout of 1500 dollars.
Getz's last time was 9.7 seconds, earning him a payout of 500 dollars.
His total tie-down roping time was 29.9 seconds.
