Harvest is moving ahead in West Central Saskatchewan and to show our appreciation for the farmers in the area we delivered our last 2 Meal in the Field lunches this week.
The final 2 stops capped off a 4 week run in which 8 lucky farms were treated to a visit from staff with either pizza from Panago Pizza in Kindersley or chicken and wedges from Kerrobert Reddi Mart.
Outing #7 was south of Brock where Mike Reimer and family/hired hands enjoyed a brief visit and lunch with on air staff and last but certainly not least the final Meal in the Field landed in the Luseland area at Trent Eurich's farm on Thursday.
Every Meal in the Field was a joy to be able to take an hour out of the farmer's day and talk harvest, hobbies, family and connect with them during the busiest time of their years.
