There are now six official candidates in the running to be the province's next Premier after Scott Moe made it official that he will enter the running.

Gord Wyant, Ken Cheveldayoff, Tina Beaudry-Mellor, Jeremy Harrison, Alanna Koch and Scott Moe have dedicated themselves to the highest level of commitment, and will be looking to take over the former position previously held by Brad Wall.

Scott Moe, MLA for the Rosthern and Shellbrook constituency, was expected to be in the race but decided to finally go through with it just recently.

Jim Reiter, MLA for the Rosetown and Elrose constituency, will be putting all of his efforts and resources into the campaign of Scott Moe's.

"Scott Moe is my choice. Not only am I endorsing Scott, I'm going to be working as hard as I can on his campaign. I think he's the right guy to lead us when Brad Wall steps down."

Jim Reiter also had this to say for those that aren't too familiar with Scott Moe.

"Scott is a farmer and is a small businessman. He's got an outstanding amount of knowledge when it comes to agriculture policy. I have tremendous amounts of faith in him."
