A new doctor will be heading to the community of Kerrobert next month with some local ties.

Dr. Mada Wentzel is moving back to her hometown of Kerrobert to work alongside her father.

Mada's father, Dr. Johann Wentzel is currently the only doctor in the west central community, so having his daughter join will be a welcome relief.

Dr. Mada will start practice in February.
