The traffic signals will be replaced on all four existing lights between 5th Avenue and Railway Avenue on Main street in Kindersley.

Four-way stop signs will temporarily replace the current traffic lights during the project which is expected to begin early next month.

The town will work to reduce any traffic congestion while the new lights are being installed.

Deputy Mayor Curtis Sackville told West Central Online the reason for the project.

The installation will be worked on one intersection at a time using a $261,044 budget.

Sackville also told West Central Online what the change will look like for Main Street.

The new signals will be placed on standard intersection traffic poles, which will make it easier for drivers to see on Main Street.
