There’s a new force in venture capital development in the province.

C100, the network founded in 2010 to unlock capital, talent and information for Canadian entrepreneurs and tech startups, has joined forces with Cultivator powered by Conexus (Cultivator) and Conexus Venture Capital Inc (Conexus VC).

A joint press release from the participants states, “This partnership will provide opportunities for Cultivator and Conexus VC companies to connect with Canadian investors, builders, operators, and mentors from around the globe. In the dynamic world of technology, this partnership is an incredible chance for Saskatchewan to flourish and excel.”

Today, C100 reaches globally, curating an expansive community of Canadian tech leaders shaping some of the most innovative companies in the world. The organization focuses on quality rather than quantity with its strategic partnerships.

"In the constantly shifting landscape of technological innovation, Canada is emerging as a fertile ground for ambitious founders, and C100 is providing the global resources and exceptional network to support this," says Ray Newal, C100 CEO. "Cultivator, powered by Conexus, offers unique support to startups in Saskatchewan that are solving global problems, and this is integral to the development of a new era of tech entrepreneurship in Canada. C100's strategic initiatives ensure that Canada is a launchpad for the world's most talented entrepreneurs, and partnering with Cultivator is one way to achieve that."

The statement also affirms that the province will benefit from the partnership between Cultivator, Conexus VC, and C100. Through this partnership, companies and founders affiliated with Cultivator and Conexus VC will have the opportunity to tap into an extensive global network of Canadian investors, mentors, and industry experts. This partnership aims to elevate the prominence of Saskatchewan's technology sector while fostering more robust connections with founders and funders both within Canada and international.

"We are excited to partner with the C100 to strengthen relationships with Canadian founders and funders living at home and abroad. Our team is eager to learn from and contribute to their network to enhance the profile of Canadian technology companies," said Kyle Scott, Managing Director, Conexus Venture Capital Inc.
