Typically, the bye week for football teams presents players and coaches a chance to rest and get away from the preparation of game action for a week.

For the Rosetown Royals in 2022, their bye week could end up being a major positive as they filled it in with a special exhibition against the Watrous Wildcats. The game was thrown together earlier this season, and a late entry into the fold from some local supporters on each side has changed everything ahead of the already planned "Friday Night Lights" matchup. The game is being played as part of the local Harvest Festival lineup as well.

A video is available through the Mainline Chrysler Facebook page, as the motor-group team over in Watrous laid down a challenge to the host Rosetown Royals, that tonight's losing team (associated dealership) has to pay $500 to the other team's football club. That game goes tonight at 7:00 pm.
