After being stuck with the title of runner up the week before, no goalie was better last week than Matt Pesenti. Through three games in the last week, Pesenti played in three games a stopped 110 of the total 117 shots he faced over the course of the week, good for a 94.0% save percentage in that time.

Over the course of the month, Pesenti won five of the ten games he started along with an overtime loss, and earned a save percentage of 93.5% in that time. Only three goaltenders in the league, had a higher percentage in January, but Pesenti played in more games than all three of them combined.

Also getting some honours this week was Tylin Hilbig in the Rookie of the Week category. The Kindersley native continues to lead the team in points with 16G-17A-33P, and in three games last week he posted five points, all of which came as assists.

Playing on a line with captain Jaxon Georget and the former Nipawin Hawk Andrew Schaab, the puck has bounced well for the unit as of late. After recieving Forward of the Week honours the week before, Schaab was quick to give credit to his linemates. As a unit, the trio put up 1G-10A-11P in the last three games.
