With the May long weekend almost here, campgrounds in the West Central area are ready to go. This includes the Macklin Lake Regional Park and Golf Course, the Eston Riverside Regional Park and Golf Course, the Kindersley Regional Park and Golf Course, and the Outlook & District Regional Park to name a few.

The cost for camping in Saskatchewan Regional Parks is from $5 to $10 per day, $15 to $25 for a 3-day entry, or you can pick up a pass for all Regional Parks in 2023 for $50.

Shifting gears to Provincial and Interprovincial parks in the area, the Battlefords Provincial Park, Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, Danielson Provincial Park and Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, are expected to be busy on the long weekend too. The weather should co-operate as well, with temperatures expected to reach the 30s on the weekend in some places.
