Team Silvernagle was in Conception Bay, Newfoundland for the Grand Slam of Curling's Boost National this past week. 

Team Silvernagle got off to quick start Wednesday morning and took a 3-1 lead after 3 ends over Team Stern. But Stern answered back with 4 points and was ahead 5-3 after 5 ends. Silvernagle tied it up with 2 in the 6th end and the teams traded points in the 7th and 8th and deciding to end to force an extra one. Unfortunately for Silvernagle, Stern had the hammer and scored 1 for the 7-6 extra end victory.

The tournament got underway on Tuesday, and Silvernagle was on the ice on Tuesday afternoon against Team Hasselborg and fell on the final shot of the 8th end, 4-3.

On Wednesday afternoon Team Silvernagle took on Team Yoshimura and Team Stern in the morning and followed that up by playing Team Homan this morning and came out on top in a back and forth game scoring 1 point in the 8th and final end, to take the game, 7-6.

Team Silvernagle won her tie breaker game against Team Tirinzoni on Friday 9-3 to move on to the quarterfinals against Tracy Fleury. But that's where the tournament ended for Silvernagle as the team fell 6-3 to end her weekend in Newfoundland. 

Next action on the Grand Slam of Curling schedule is the Canadian Open which will be held right here in Saskatchewan. The Canadian Open begins in Yorkton January 14 and runs to January 19.
