Rosetown just held a blood donor clinic recently. Canadian Blood Services has a goal of 96 units whenever they come to Rosetown. This past clinic saw them collect 95 units of blood, which Katherine Wasylynka, Territory Manager for Canadian Blood Services, said they were thrilled with. Wasylynka said Rosetown has always been a very generous location, and they usually collect their goal or very close to it.

Wasylynka also spoke on the heightened need during this time of year, and which specific blood types are most in need.

Wasylynka also talks about the 'rockstar' of all blood types, and how precious this type of blood is to Canadian Blood Services.

There is also a blood donor clinic coming up in Kindersley on February 27th from 12-7 pm at the Elks Hall. Canadian Blood Services has set a goal of 120 units of blood for the Kindersley clinic. Katherine stated they usually hit and exceed their goal when they host blood donor clinics in Kindersley.
