A Rosetown doctor has been fined and had their licence temporarily suspended after a disciplinary process was begun by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. 

Dr. Ashwani Narang was charged with ‘unprofessional conduct’ for accessing personal health records for a number of individuals of whom he did not have a ‘physician-patient’ relationship. 

Through the discipline process Dr. Narang admitted to the wrong doing. As a result, his licence has been suspended for three months and he has been fined in the amount of $23,597.96 

The suspension was handed down at the end of September.
