The Rosetown Centennial Library will be closed from November 27th to December 3rd as the building will undergo a full paint job inside. If everything goes smoothly, the library will be back and running on Monday December 5th.

It's been 20 years since the inside of the library was painted, and the new paint job will help brighten up the inside of the building.

The walls are all being painted, while the shelving will remain in place. Shelves had just been replaced in recent years and haven't caused any issues.

Sharon Clark, the community Librarian, talked about the biggest difference the new baby blue paint job will make going forward.

"The new colour will make the children's area more brighter and welcoming. We plan on changing some of the displays in the area and help make the room more interesting."

Not only for the children, but for anyone else that uses the library on a regular basis will be able to enjoy the new changes in the coming days.
