The Rosetown Redwings finished off their regular season in the SVHL with two road games on Friday and Saturday night.

The Redwings first headed to Delisle to take on the Bruins on Friday night. In a tight checking, close game, the Bruins won by score of 4-3 over the Redwings. Spencer Gilchrist, Jordan Johnston, and Justin Fox scored for Rosetown in the defeat.

The Redwings then headed down to Central Butte Saturday night and lost 7-2 to the host Flyers. Rosetown finished off their regular season posting a 12-7-1 mark and ended up in fourth in the standings of the SVHL. The Redwings will either play Loreburn or Dinsmore in the first round of SVHL playoffs.

Rosetown entered provincial playoffs in the C bracket as well. The Redwings will play Wadena on February 1 in Wadena before coming back to play in Rosetown on February 8 at the Rosetown Arena at 8 pm, and if necessary, will play the deciding game 3 in Rosetown on Sunday, February 9 at 3pm.
