After the Sask Valley Hockey League fired up last weekend, the Sask West Hockey League is opening up their season this weekend, with one game set for this evening, as the Unity Miners will head west down Highway 14 to take on the Macklin Mohawks at 8:30 pm.

There are a pair of games tomorrow, starting with the Wilkie Outlaws heading south to take on the Kerrobert Tigers. Puck drop is just after 8 pm in that one. Also on the ice tomorrow will be the Unity Miners once again, as they will have their home opener against the Edam 3 Stars at 8 pm.

The Kindersley Sr. Klippers are idle this weekend, before they begin their season next week at home versus the Unity Miners at 7:30 pm on November 20.
