Family physicians are part of front-line care during the COVID 19 pandemic, and are often the first point of contact for people who suspect they may have the Coronavirus.

Saskatchewan physicians are urging the public, both young and old, to heed the guidelines and stay home, limit your contact with other people, and practice social distancing.

Making these changes now, they say, will save countless lives in the coming weeks and months.

The Federal Health Department has ordered that all travelers returning to Canada must quarantine for 14 days, and a Provincial Public Health Order states that gatherings of up to ten people are prohibited.

Saskatchewan physicians are continuing to see patients for appointments and urge everyone, especially if you have symptoms of COVID 19, to phone their physician's office first before arriving, for instructions on what to do .
