Scotiabank customers in Rosetown and Outlook are being forced to change how they bank.

WestCentralOnline reached out for comment, as over the next calendar year both communities will no longer have an operational branch.

"After careful consideration we have made the difficult decision to consolidate a series of branches across various markets in Canada."  shared senior communications manager Daniela Da Silva.

Da Silva confirmed the decision to close Outlook and Rosetown branches. In-person services for Outlook customers are being re-located to the branch on Clarence Avenue in Saskatoon in-time for October 2024, while Rosetown customers will be referred to the branch at Kensington Blvd. a little earlier in March 2024.

Da Silva provided the following statement on their decisions.

"With customer preferences changing, and more day-to-day banking being done digitally, we are continuing to evolve how we serve our customers and invest in areas that make it easier for our customers to bank with us from wherever they are. We are committed to supporting our customers and employees through the transition and we will continue to share more details directly with impacted customers."

Scotiabank's third and final, and soon-to-be final west-central Saskatchewan location is at 200 Main Street in Kindersley.
