Saskatchewan's EI numbers continue to decrease.
Stats Canada says in June, just over 13,000 people received employment insurance in the province, a decrease of nearly nine per cent from last June.
Advanced Education, Employment, and Immigration Minister, Rob Norris, explained that Saskatchewan has the second best EI numbers in Canada per capita.
The government is making sure it is easier for people to transition back into employment opportunities after benefitting from the EI program. The SaskJobs website is also continuing to provide job opportunities.
