It will be another busy weekend of senior hockey in the west central region. Taking the ice tonight will be the Macklin Sr. Mohawks and the Eston Sr. Ramblers in Provincial D action. The game will be held in Macklin and will begin at 8:30 pm. In other Provincial D action, the Delisle Bruins will be heading to Shellbrook tomorrow to battle the Elks. Puck drop for that one is 8:00 pm. 

Looking at the C bracket of senior Provincials, Dinsmore will need a win to stay alive against the Cobras tomorrow night in Canora. Game time is 8:00 pm as well. Meanwhile, an all SWHL matchup featuring local rivals Wilkie and Biggar sees game two in Biggar tomorrow night at 8:00 pm. Looking at more local senior action, the Kyle Elks will play their SVHL counterpart Davidson tomorrow in Kyle. Puck drop is 7:00 pm. 

Looking at the large A bracket of senior Provincials, Kindersley will face Kenaston in round 2, with game one set for Kindersley Sunday night at 7:30 pm. Game two will be back in Kenaston on March 2 also at 7:30 pm with the pregame show on Country 104 beginning at 7:15 pm.

Looking at league playoffs, the Wilkie Outlaws and Macklin Mohawks will renew hostilities this Sunday in Macklin in the SWHL. Puck drop for the game is 6:00 pm. Game three of the best of five series will be held in Wilkie Sunday, March 3 at 8:00 pm.

Kindersley fell 5-2 last night and will need to bounce back to even the series tomorrow in Hafford. Puck drop for that one is 7:30 pm, with the pregame show on Country 104 beginning at 7:15 pm.

The SVHL playoff are off until early next week, as Kenaston will be in Davidson Tuesday at 8:00 pm. The other series featuring Dinsmore and Kyle will resume Wednesday February 28 in Kyle. Puck drop for that one is 8:00 pm.
