The Kindersley Sr. Klippers were back on the ice this past weekend against the unbeaten 10-0 Wilkie Outlaws at home.

The Klippers fell behind 3-2 after the first period but took over the game from there scoring 7 straight goals to shock the defending SWHL champs and built a 9-3 lead. The Outlaws scored two late goals but it wan't near enough as Kindersley won 9-5 to take over first place in the SWHL with an 11-2 mark.

Shayne Neigum had a big game for the Klippers with 4 goals and two assists to lead the team to victory. Preston Kopeck came up large as well with a goal and 5 helpers for 6 points as well in the big win.

Next action for the Klippers is a home date with the Hafford Hawks on Saturday at home before heading to Macklin to take on the Mohawks Sunday.
