The calls to service for the Unity, Macklin and Wilkie RCMP detachments from May 24 to 30 were highlighted by a sudden death of a 68-year-old male from Wilkie. The death was not suspicious in nature. Police also received a report of a suspicious male attempting to gain access to St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Macklin. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint. And RCMP received a complaint stolen fuel from a gas station in Unity. Members located the subject of complaint who returned to pay for the fuel. No charges were laid.

UNITY REPORTS

· RCMP received a complaint of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction near Scott. Reported for information purposes.

· Members received a request to increase patrols in the Reward area.

· RCMP received a report of a missing person. Members located they subject of complaint.

· Police received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle in a rural area near Scott. Members contacted the registered owner who agreed to move the vehicle.

· Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.

· RCMP received a complaint of two individuals loitering near a residence. Members patrolled but could not locate the subjects of complaint.

· Police received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

· CN Police reported a grass fire near the railway tracks near Senlac. Marsden Fire Department attended to extinguish the fire. Police presence was not requested. Reported for information purposes.

· RCMP received a complaint stolen fuel from a local gas station. Members located the subject of complaint who returned to pay for the fuel. No charges were laid.

· There was also one traffic complaint and one false alarm.

WILKIE REPORTS

· RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

· Members attended the sudden death of a 68-year-old male from Wilkie. The death was not suspicious in nature.

· Police received another complaint of theft but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· RCMP received a report of a lost cell phone. The phone was later located by an individual and returned to the complainant.

· There were also two false alarms and one traffic complaint.

MACKLIN REPORT

· RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

· Police received a report of a suspicious male attempting to gain access to St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
