Playoff are well underway in the SVHL with three of the four first round series completed. 

This includes the defending champion Kenaston Blizzards knocking off their Highway 15 rivals from Outlook in two straight. 

Also moving on are the Eston Ramblers, as they defeated the Loreburn 19ers in two straight games.

The Kyle Elks punched their ticket to the first round over the past weekend, defeating the Central Butte Flyers with relative ease. 

The only first round series which is still going are the Dinsmore Dynamos up against the Delisle Bruins. Dinsmore forced a winner take all game three back in Delisle Friday night with a 3-0 shutout victory last night in Dinsmore. Puck drop from Delisle is 8:00 pm.

Meanwhile the SVHL awards were handed out, and Jamien Yakubowski was at the forefront for his splendid 2022-23 campaign. The Kenaston Blizzards forward had an impressive 41 goals and 77points in 18 games, not to just lead the league in goals, but the province as well.
