The player of the week, and runners up were also handed out by SWHL president Joe Cey, and there are as follows.

Runners up were Kindersley's Darian Dziurzynski who had four goals and one assist on the weekend including a hat trick against Hafford Sunday night. And Spencer Bast scored two goals and two assists, and the shootout winner against Wilkie Saturday night to give the Outlaws their fist setback of the season.

Taking home the player of the week for Week 8 in the SWHL was Wilkie's Blake Young, who had four goals and two assists.
