Team Ackerman are your provincial champions after a exciting 9-6 win over Team Springer Sunday afternoon. With the win, the team will be representing Saskatchewan in St. Catharine’s Ontario from November 3-9, 2024, for an opportunity to represent Canada at the 2025 World Mixed Curling Championship being held in Assiniboia, SK from November 2-8, 2025.

The provincial final is set as Team Ackerman will play Team Springer in the final at 2:00 pm from the WCEC. 

UPDATE: 10:00 PM Friday, March 22

Joshua Heidt and his team are coming off 7-4 loss to Team Springer Friday afternoon and will be playing Team DeConinck Smith Saturday morning at 10 am. As for Mitch Heidt and his team, they won 9-4 over Team Grindheim in the afternoon draw, before falling 8-5 to Team Springer in the evening draw. They will be back on the ice for the 2pm draw Saturday. Team St. John conceded to Team Ross 7-1 and are now eliminated from contention. As for Robyn Silvernagle and Team Ackerman they are coming off a 8-2 loss to Team Hartung and will play Team Springer at 10 am Saturday.

UPDATE: 3:00 PM Friday, March 22

Both Mitch and Josh Heidt are on the ice this afternoon and are in the B event. Josh won 6-3 over Team Ross this morning, and Mitch also won this morning, defeating Team DeConinck Smith 4-3. Meanwhile, Team St. John needs a win against Team Ross to stay alive in the afternoon draw. Team Ackerman and Robyn Silvernagle are 3-0 after a 5-4 win over Team Grindheim this morning. 

UPDATE: 8:00 PM Thursday, March 21

Day one of the CURLSASK Provincial Championships in Kindersley is finished. Kerrobert's Mitch Heidt is now 1-1 after defeating Kindersley Team St. John in the evening draw. Also winning was Mitch Heidt from Kerrobert. A familiar name is curling for Team Ackerman, as Biggar's Robyn Silvernagle was on the ice for the evening draw as well. The team won their game against Team Ross and are 2-0 after day one.

The CURLSASK mixed Provincial Championships are underway at the WCEC in Kindersley.

A special curling bonspiel is heading to Kindersley this weekend.

The Kindersley Curling Club will be hosting the CURLSASK mixed Provincial Championships Thursday through Sunday.  

12 teams will be taking part from across the province, competing to wear the coveted green jacket to represent Saskatchewan. 

Things get underway with the first two draws Thursday at 2:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. at the Kindersley Curling Club, with the final scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday. Admission is free. 

Winners from the event will be representing Saskatchewan in St. Catharine’s Ontario from November 3-9, 2024, for an opportunity to represent Canada at the 2025 World Mixed Curling Championship being held in Assiniboia, SK from November 2-8, 2025
