Saskatchewan residents will be seeing more money in their pockets after another round of tax cuts by the provincial government.

The Government of Saskatchewan announced an additional $22 million in tax savings for 2009 after indexing income tax brackets and personal tax credits to the rate of inflation.

The tax cut means a family with two children can now earn just over $42,000 without paying any provincial income tax and seniors receiving $25,000 in pension income will pay $50 less in income tax. Further, the spousal tax credit will increase to $13,000 and the child tax credit to just under $5,000.
